(5) Work It

Now, we found our Lady Macbeth!

Drum roll please...
(*DRUM ROLLS*)

It's SHARMILA MALAKAR!

Haha... I thought that, with the concept that we're gonna use, she's the most suitable one for it. Well, for a few good reasons of course. 1st, she's got a thick, nice-shaped lips. Very nice teeth and really clear complexion. The fact that we're doing close-up hides her true height. Hahahaa... (Just kidding Sharmi XD)

As for our Macbeth and King Duncan, its 2 of our friends from college. The fact is, we found them last minute and fortunately, they agreed to help us out.

Then, we decided that Khayma's room is not dark enough. So, we borrowed the college's music room for our filming. It's more secured and filters all the noise from outside. The darkness in the room was what we wanted. It was perfect! Pitch black-perfect!

After that, we also decided to have Lady Macbeth's lips and nails painted, to show passion and courage, strength and power. So, we picked blood-red for Sharmila. And it was awesome. Her lips popped more than usual. And we were ready to film. We also had a fun time choosing the jewels for her. Khayma had some really nice assorted jewelery in her collection. And we chose the one that would represent Lady Macbeth's crowning jewels (The really Mak Datin type of jewels).

Sharmila put on my dress that I wore for a dinner themed - Medieval Elegance. It suited the concept and was just the right costume for Lady Macbeth's character. We started off with experimenting with the first short film. It worked. Then we continued with other scenes.

As we filmed the video, we couldn't stop laughing. It was really funny listening to Sharmila speaking in old English, getting all tongue-tied and awkward. But it was fun filming.

Then when it's the boys' turn, they did an amazing job. They understood the concept well. Not much cuts and they were very co-operative. It was a job well done in a short period of time.

Later on, we filmed parts of Sharmila walking a short distance to show Lady Macbeth's incoming and also playing the chimes to show her grace.

The filming was brief. Next... It's time to edit the short clips and make magic happen.
